About
Initiated by a group of organizations from the South Region (Dark Euphoria, Le Grenier à Sel, la Villa Créative, Avignon Université) and in partnership with the Festival d’Avignon, the Spectacle Vivant, Scènes Numériques (SVSN) meetings invite performing arts and live arts professionals to explore issues of digital transition and innovation (augmented and virtual stages, immersive theater, hybrid forms, interactive devices, participatory performances, etc.).
After 5 editions bringing together more than 1,000 participants, SVSN has now established itself as a key moment for exchange and networking and a genuine journey of inspiration and understanding of the creative possibilities offered by immersive and interactive devices.

The Event
For five years, Performing Arts, Digital Stages (SVSN) has established itself as a pioneering gathering at the heart of the Festival d’Avignon, at the intersection of performing arts and immersive technologies.
Closely linked to societal changes, digital practices are profoundly transforming stage creation: motion capture, digital doubles, real-time interactions, XR, artificial intelligence… These innovations question and redefine the relationship between artists, works, and audiences.
SVSN supports these developments by providing national and international visibility to emerging projects and creating a space for reflection and cultural awareness for performing arts professionals.
SVSN is an event conceived and organized by Dark Euphoria with Le Grenier à Sel, la Villa Créative, Avignon Université, as part of the Festival d’Avignon.

Dark Euphoria
Dark Euphoria is an artistic production and cultural innovation agency based in Marseille. We prototype and produce transdisciplinary projects at the intersection of art and digital technologies: interactive installations, immersive experiences, augmented performances…
Through national and European programs (France 2030, Creative Europe), we explore new artistic languages and technological devices, shared among artists, cultural venues, and creative technologists. Pioneers in production combining XR and live performance, we are particularly committed to supporting artists and creative teams who also wish to reinvent theatrical, musical, and choreographic forms and their relationships with audiences.

Conceived as a space for cultural hybridization and effervescence, Le Grenier à Sel explores and presents new creative territories, those based on the strong permeability between art, science, and technology. At the intersection of visual arts, Le Grenier à Sel encourages new modes of collaboration between artists, researchers, and economic actors, enabling the production of original works that illuminate our understanding of the current world and its transformations.

La Villa Créative - Avignon Université
La Villa Créative, a new hybrid site for training, creation, innovation, experimentation, and research, inaugurated in May 2025. This unique place for meetings, sharing, and collaboration will bring together the academic, research, and entrepreneurial worlds around the specialization axis “Culture, Heritage, Digital Societies” of Avignon Université.
