As part of their commitment to international artistic exchanges, the SVSN Meetings will welcome several international delegations: Sub-Saharan Africa, Switzerland, Finland, and Romania will be our guests of honor in 2026!

Swiss XR Focus
Co-programmed by Cie Gilles Jobin and Dark Euphoria, in partnership with PXN – Producers of Digital Experiences, Focus XR Suisse highlights the vitality of Swiss stage creation at the intersection of live performance, immersive technologies, and interactive experiences.
For the occasion, Cie Gilles Jobin is setting up at Grenier à sel the optical motion-capture system from Studio 44 MocapLab for a mocap workshop and presentations of works in progress, with the aim of showcasing the specificities of the “creative mocap” production pipeline from a live performance perspective.

We are pleased to welcome 5 professionals from Sub-Saharan Africa. This initiative, conducted in partnership with the Institut français, aims to strengthen ties between African and European cultural scenes, and to foster the emergence of new creative collaborations.

Romania & Finland (EXPAND project)
EXPAND is a new European program dedicated to emerging artists and producers who wish to explore immersive technologies (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) in live performance.
Led by a consortium comprising Dark Euphoria (France), Theatre &ESPOO (Finland), and the Marin Sorescu National Theatre (Romania), it aims to rethink stage practices by integrating XR and AI to invent new forms of storytelling, performance, and audience experience, while promoting collaborative and sustainable production models.
The SVSN Meetings 2026 will mark the official launch of EXPAND. 15 professionals from Finland and Romania (live performance artists, producers, creative technologists, and programmers) will be with us in Avignon.
