As part of their commitment to international artistic exchanges, the SVSN 2026 Gatherings will welcome several international delegations. This initiative, carried out with the valuable support of the Institut français, aims to strengthen ties between French, European, and global cultural scenes, and to foster the emergence of new creative collaborations.

Sub-Saharan Africa
As part of their commitment to international artistic exchanges, the SVSN 2026 Gatherings are pleased to welcome a delegation of professionals from Sub-Saharan Africa. This initiative, carried out in partnership with the Institut français, aims to strengthen ties between African and European cultural scenes, and to foster the emergence of new creative collaborations.

Romania & Finland (EXPAND project)
EXPAND is a new European program dedicated to exploring immersive technologies (XR) and artificial intelligence (AI) in the service of performing arts. Led by a consortium bringing together Dark Euphoria (France), &ESPOO Theatre (Finland), and the Marin Sorescu National Theatre (Romania), it will support six artist-producer duos in a creative and innovative process over 22 months.
The SVSN 2026 Meetings will mark the official launch of EXPAND, providing a space for presentation and discussion around its challenges and ambitions. This project aims to rethink stage practices by integrating XR and AI to invent new forms of storytelling, performance, and audience experience, while promoting collaborative and sustainable production models. Six professionals from Finland and six professionals from Romania working in performing arts will be present at the event.
